# Overview

Privy B2B Digital Certificate Issuance APIs issue a digital certificate to a
verified individual. If the result is `verified`, the verification has passed
and Privy will issue the digital certificate. If the result is `rejected`, the
verification has not passed and Privy will not issue the digital certificate.

## Verification methods

### Authoritative Partner Verification

Authoritative Partner Verification verifies submitted data against an
Authoritative Partner. The partner determines whether the request is
`verified` or `rejected`.
