# Overview

KTP OCR API v2 extracts demographic identity information from a submitted KTP
image. The extracted data can support downstream digital certificate issuance
processing, but this API does not independently verify the identity, decide
issuance eligibility, or issue a digital certificate.

## Endpoint

`POST /api/v2/ocr`

## How it works

1. Send a unique `trId` and a Base64-encoded KTP image.
2. Privy validates the credentials, transaction ID, and image.
3. Configured image-quality checks and OCR processing run.
4. Privy returns the demographic fields extracted from the KTP.

Some quality checks, including KTP detection, blur, orientation, and NIK
checking, depend on the service configuration provisioned for your integration.
